The power of strategy decided the winner of this year’s Italian Grand Prix, but because of the battle in the front, some winners in the back didn’t get much of a broadcast recognition. Let’s take a look at who left Monza with a big smile and who, on the other hand, was disappointed.

McLaren basically gifted the home win to Ferrari in Monza. The British team went with the wrong strategy and Charles Lerclerc didn’t hesitate for a bit and after only one pit stop, got to stand on the top step in front of the Tifosi army. Oscar Piastri, who was aiming for the victory, only needed to settle down with second place and his teammate Norris with third.

McLaren left Red Bull completely behind, as the Austrian team only confirmed their struggles with the car this weekend. Both Papaya drivers will start from the front row in tomorrow’s race, Red Bull only from row number four as Mercedes and Ferrari drivers share the second and third one.
